Getting Here

Building Access

UCSF badge is required to access The Embarcadero building. Visitors may use the call box connect with security. The entrance to the Nursing Innovation and Education Center is located past the lobby entrance on the first floor, in Suite 1100.

Parking

The Parking Garage is for UCSF Staff Only

Non UCSF Staff Parking options:

• To reserve an external parking spot, many have used mobile parking apps such as SpotHero

Bike Parking

• There are 20 bikes spots in a secure room in the garage for UCSF employees.
• Per Campus Administrative Policy, bicycles brought on campus must be parked in designated bicycle parking areas only, those parked in enclosures, lockers, and interior rooms must display a UCSF permit.
• Due to fire code, bikes of any kind (fold-up, scooters, etc.) will need to remain in bike room.
• For visitors that arrive by bike, there are bike racks outside the building.

Drop Down Workstations - On a first come, first serve basis.

Restrooms - Men’s and Women’s restrooms in the hallway. Additional single occupancy restrooms available.

Learner Lounge - Please clean up after yourself.

Food & Water

• 2 refrigerators with freezers are available in the Learner Lounge for guests
• 2 Microwaves are also available
• Filtered water is available
• We are making a conscious effort to be more eco friendly
  • We don’t offer any single use cups, but instead offer re-usable ceramic mugs
  • Please bring your own water bottle
