Student Clinical Placements

As a premier academic teaching institution, UCSF Health provides an excellent environment for learning. The Department of Nursing is dedicated to supporting the education and development of future nurses through the coordination of student placements throughout UCSF Medical Center Parnassus, Mount Zion, Mission Bay, Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute, and Ambulatory Clinics.

The Center for Nursing Excellence & Innovation coordinates student clinical placements. Each year, the department of Nursing hosts many students from our partner schools within the San Francisco Bay Area.
