Sasha Binford is a PhD-prepared Geriatrics Clinical Nurse Specialist with a focus on improving health outcomes for persons living with cognitive impairment and their care partners. She is the Nursing Director of UCSF’s Age-Friendly Health System Program which aims to transform the care provided to older adults across the health continuum. With the growing number of older adults who will be cared for at UCSF and across the nation, Sasha strives to prepare the nursing workforce in providing quality and equitable patient-centered care for older adult patients – addressing their unique needs.
