Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Strategic Leadership Fellowship

BEST FOR: APPs IN SENIOR LEADERSHIP ROLES

Expand your strategic influence as an APP leader. Designed specifically for Advanced Practice Providers in senior leadership roles, this immersive fellowship provides an opportunity to strengthen strategic leadership capabilities while learning alongside other APP leaders. The fellowship is co-led by the UCSF Leadership Institute and the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) and is designed to help participants expand their leadership impact within complex health care organizations.

Foundations for Excellence in Physician Leadership

BEST FOR: PHYSICIANS LEADING CLINICAL TEAMS

Strengthen your ability to lead both people and systems. This nine-month program prepares physicians to lead clinical teams effectively while navigating the operational and strategic complexities of health care administration. Through monthly learning sessions, executive coaching, project-based learning, and networking, participants develop practical skills in performance improvement, change and project management, financial resource management, human resource leadership, innovation, and career development. Evidence-Based Practice & Implementation Programs

Turn evidence into better clinical practice and better outcomes.

Build the skills to find, evaluate, apply, and implement evidence in real-world health care settings. Whether you are new to evidence-based practice or ready to lead a formal implementation initiative, these programs provide practical tools you can put to work in your organization.

JBI Evidence Implementation Fellowship Program

BEST FOR: PROFESSIONALS LEADING SYSTEM-LEVEL EVIDENCE IMPLEMENTATION

Develop the expertise to lead evidence implementation across complex health care systems. This six-month fellowship explores strategies for effective evidence implementation, with an emphasis on mesosystem- and macrosystem-level practice change. Through interactive workshops grounded in adult and experiential learning principles, participants combine focused instruction with opportunities for practical application.

Fellows also develop skills using the JBI Practical Application of Clinical Evidence System (PACES) and Getting Research into Practice (GRiP) tools while receiving guided opportunities to move evidence into practice.

Foundations of EBP Workshop

Build the skills to bring evidence into everyday clinical decision-making. This introductory three-day workshop provides essential tools for integrating evidence-based practice into clinical care. Participants learn how to formulate focused clinical questions, critically appraise the literature, and apply evidence to practice with the goal of improving patient and health care outcomes.

Evidence Implementation Workshop

BEST FOR: CLINICIANS & TEAMS READY TO TURN EVIDENCE INTO ACTION

You have the evidence. Now learn how to make change happen. This hands-on, two-day workshop equips clinicians with practical implementation science tools for translating evidence-based ideas into real-world practice change. Participants develop a draft action plan for a formal practice change initiative, including strategies for implementation, sustainability, evaluation, and dissemination, while strengthening their ability to lead change that improves clinical outcomes and health care processes.
