The UCSF Leadership Institute offers programs for people interested in leadership development, evidence-based practice (EBP), and other specialty programs that support knowledge and skill development of people in health care organizations.

Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Programs
- EBP E-Learning Series – This virtual series is self-paced and includes 10 hours of content that provide an overview of the EBP process. This is a great way to learn EBP fundamentals or reinforce knowledge.
- Foundations of Evidence-Based Practice Workshop – This introductory workshop provides the essential tools to integrate EBP into daily clinical decision-making. Participants will learn how to formulate clinical questions, critically appraise literature, and apply findings to improve patient outcomes. Virtual and in-person options are available.

- Leveling Up with Healthcare Finance: A three-part interactive workshop series designed to help healthcare leaders understand and apply essential financial concepts within their day-to-day work.
- Population Health Management Certificate Program: A comprehensive program covering key industry definitions, health care delivery drivers, payment models, and clinical best practices.
Leadership Development Programs
- Foundations for Excellence in Physician Leadership – A program for physicians in the early stages of an administrative medicine career or those interested in gaining more administrative responsibilities in a clinical setting are ideal candidates for the program. The program includes live monthly learning sessions and executive coaching focusing on key leadership competencies for physician leaders.
