Emily Smith obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015 from California State University Long Beach. She has worked on the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit for approximately six years. She has been involved in pressure injury prevention in partnership with Audrey Basic for approximately three and half years. She has a passion for quality improvement and staff education. Emily is a member of the unit-based Quality and Safety council on the Cardiac Intensive Care unit.
