Tracie Citron, MS, APRN (AGAC-NP & ACNS-BC) works at San Francisco VA Healthcare System in the role of Director of Evidence Based Practice with clinical role as NP in MICU. She has fourteen years of nursing experience, with nine years in Advance Practice roles (Clinical Nurse Specialist and then Nurse Practitioner). She earned her Master of Science at UCSF School of Nursing and appreciates the many mentors from UCSF who continue to provide her guidance. She would also like to acknowledge the leaders who have supported her through her nursing career especially including those at San Francisco VA HCS who champion opportunities for Nurse Research and Evidence Based Practice.
