Jean Digitale is a PhD candidate in Epidemiology and Translational Science at the University of California, San Francisco. Jean completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. She has a decade of experience working at the bedside as a pediatric nurse, primarily in critical care. She pursued her Master of Public Health at Columbia University and subsequently worked in research in global health and development focused on adolescent girls in Zambia and Malawi. Her doctoral dissertation combines her clinical background with her expertise in research methodology to enhance decision-making processes surrounding extubation in pediatric intensive care units.
