Qingting Lin, BSN, RN, CSMRN, CCRN, is currently a Doctor of Nursing Practice student in the Family Nurse Practitioner specialty program (DNP-FNP) at the University of Maryland School of Nursing. Qingting is employed as a registered nurse at Medstar Washington Hospital Center and practices on a medical-surgical floor with eight years of nursing experience. Her nursing career spans a diverse range of experiences in critical care and medical surgical settings, underlining her dedication to delivering safe and quality patient care. A notable highlight was her participation in the Medstar Health Safety Summit in 2019. In addition, Qingting showcased her expertise in stroke care by appearing on ABC 7 News' Stroke Hotline in May 2018, where she offered advice and answered questions from the public. As a member of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, Qingting engages in the continuous advancement of nursing knowledge. Her belief in the importance of professional development was highlighted by her attendance at the 4th Annual Nursing Evidence-Based Practice and Research Conference at Medstar Washington Hospital Center in 2019. At this event, she recognized the opportunities the conference provided for nursing professionals to present research, share project findings, and stay informed about the latest advancements and evidence-based practices in healthcare. Qingting's journey as a DNP-FNP is marked by her successful implementation of a quality improvement project in a large academic hospital. Her goal is to share these findings not only nationally, but also globally reflecting her commitment to the broader dissemination of knowledge and best practices in nursing.
