Rachel Goldsberry has been in the healthcare field for over seven years. She is from Illinois and obtained her BSN from Western Illinois University in 2015. Her first RN position was held at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago on a Pulmonary Step-Down Unit. Rachel has since relocated to Southern California and has been a UCLA Emergency Care Unit nursing team member since 2019. She has served as an Inpatient Facilitator (IPF), bedside RN, and preceptor. Her passion for professional growth has led Rachel to transition into ECU’s Assistant Nurse Manager and continues to demonstrate her leadership skills through communication, motivation, and employee engagement. Rachel is a project member of ECU’s Improving Employee Engagement, where she presented a poster at UCLA’s Evidence-Based Practice Conference. She has demonstrated her expertise in medical surgical/ telemetry nursing, but she also has experience in emergency nursing. She is eager to continue her career at UCLA and enroll into a Master’s program.
