Catherine Mitsuoka, MSN, RN Nurse Manager, Adult Infusion Center UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center UCSF Health Catherine Mitsuoka is a Nurse Manager for the Adult Infusion Center in the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. Catherine has worked with the adult oncology population at UCSF for over 35 years, first on the 11 Long inpatient bone marrow transplant unit beginning as a new nurse graduate in 1988, followed by the Adult Infusion Center in 1998. Catherine recently completed a graduate program in Nursing Leadership and Management and has served in leadership roles at the Adult Infusion Center since 2010. Catherine has been involved in multiple process improvement projects and expansion projects with the Adult Infusion Center and has also completed Lean Leadership training. Patient experience, staff engagement, and sustaining a culture of safety are areas of focus for Catherine.
