Christine Van Dyke is a Registered Clinical Nurse in the Birth Center at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She originally attended San Diego State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration as well as a Master of Science in Business Administration. Christine then pursued her interest in nursing, graduating, from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While working in administrative roles at UCSF, she transitioned to bedside nursing and has worked for the University of California system for 17 years.
Christine is an active member of multiple UCSF medical center committees and councils and is a graduate of the Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Fellowship Program, coordinating efforts on safe sleep implementation for the inpatient experience. She is working towards her Clinical Nurse III as the Birth Center Representative for the Hospital Wide Safe Sleep Committee.
Christine enjoys cooking, gardening and weekend getaways to Lake Tahoe with their three cats, as well as trips to Southern California and New York to visit family and friends.
