Katherine Woodward is a Nursing Professional Development Specialist on the Ambulatory Clinical Resource Team at UCSF. Her focus is on professional development and top of license practice in Ambulatory Care, including Non-Provider Protocol development. She developed an AMB-BC specialty certification study group program in 2020 designed to offer a free, supportive, accessible, and (hopefully!) fun environment for eligible RNs to prepare for their exam. Before joining Ambulatory Services, she worked in various critical care units throughout the University of California system. She received her Bachelor of Science Nursing degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Science Nursing in Leadership and Management through Western Governors University.
