Learning Outcomes
- Gain a broad understanding of theoretical frameworks of adult learning and apply a framework to a particular curricular innovation project.
- Articulate the differences between learning outcomes and objectives while drafting measurable learning outcomes and objectives for a curricular innovation project.
- Describe and apply the various phases of the education design process (e.g., assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation formative, summative, and learning domains).
- Engage in perspective-taking (the cognitive component of empathy as defined by Joint Commission) when reflecting on the learning styles, approaches and backgrounds, of those they help to develop and grow.
