Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Showcase

This event will showcase advancements in nursing research, the implementation of evidence-based practices, quality improvement, and healthcare innovations at UCSF, San Francisco Bay Area, nationally, and globally. The conference welcomes clinical nurses, advanced practice providers, administrators, nursing students, faculty members, as well as interprofessional colleagues and affiliates, to both present their work and participate in the event.

UCSF Health Center for Nursing Excellence & Innovation is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) Provider Number CEP 12980

Evaluation must be completed in Nursing Connect to claim contact hours.

Claiming Contact Hours

This course is provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing Provider # CEP 12980 for 4 Contact Hours (September 25, 2025) and 7 Contact Hours (September 26, 2025).

You have 30 days from the end of the event (October 27, 2025) to complete an evaluation via UCSF Nursing Connect to claim your contact hours. You should receive an email on September 26, 2025, prompting you to claim your contact hours. Registration via UCSF Nursing Connect is required to claim contact hours.

PUBLIC TRANSIT

MUNI
T-Third Metro Line picks up at the 4th and King Street Caltrain Station and the Embarcadero BART station. Stop: UCSF Mission Bay Station on 3rd Street opposite the campus.

Mission Bay SHUTTLES (Free to the Public)
Operates Monday through Friday in peak AM and PM commuting times.

UCSF Campus Life Services Shuttle serves routes to Mission Bay Campus. The Gold, Blue, Grey, and Red lines stop at Mission Bay.

West Route serves Berry and Owens Streets from Powell St. Station (5th and Market). The Owens St. stop is directly in front of the conference center.

CALTRAIN-TRANSBAY route serves Owens, Berry, Montgomery Bart (2nd @ Stevenson), Harrison, 4th St., MBBS, and llinois streets from Salesforce Terminal at 500 Howard St. The Owens St. stop is directly in front of the conference center.

BART/UCSF SHUTTLES (UCSF ID  Badge required)
Disembark at the 16th Street Mission BART station. Pick up the UCSF Shuttle - Red Line at the NE corner of the intersection. Shuttles run every 15 minutes, Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 7:30pm, to 4th Street, in front of the UCSF Mission Bay Campus.
