The Executive Leadership in Academic Health Centers program develops the knowledge, skills, and self-awareness to lead AHC‑affiliated schools of nursing. Through three immersive experiences, executive coaching, and project-based learning, participants are guided by national leaders in academic health centers.

You’ll strengthen capabilities in team leadership, stakeholder relations, financial stewardship (including AHC “funds flow” and diversified funding), and career advancement—culminating in a business‑case proposal for implementation.

In addition to learning sessions, participants will:
- Complete a personalized leadership assessment and debrief.
- Participate in executive coaching sessions scheduled between Immersions 1 & 2 and 2 & 3.
- Engage in project‑based learning and develop a business‑case implementation proposal.
Program Expectations
Participants are expected to:
- Attend the virtual orientation and all three in‑person immersions.
- Participate in scheduled executive coaching between immersions.
- Complete the leadership assessment and engage fully in project‑based learning.
- Develop and present a proposal for implementation with a strong business case.
- Arrange and fund their own travel and accommodations (not included in registration fee).
