Precepting with PRIDE
This program is offered annually to all UCSF RN’s that are interested in developing their precepting and leadership skills. It is designed to build foundational knowledge for nurses to grow as preceptors and leaders with a focus on clinical leadership and communication skill development.
Training Programs
A variety of training programs are offered throughout the year to support both new and experienced nurses at UCSF. Our nurse residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialling Center. Current dates and openings can be found here.
Professional Development Council
The Professional Development Council is one of our Magnet core shared-governance councils. Membership is open to all nurses and clinical care partners across the organization. Members meet monthly to strategize around goals of the council; promoting professional development and life-long learning, supporting recognition and retention of nursing staff.
